20% Project Week 7

For my 7th week of my 20% project I was very successful. One thing I did was I finished glueing in all of the pictures 1-15. Then I had to write how to say it in Spanish. For example, one is uno, two is dos, and three is tres etc. Also what I did was I used stencils to paint out the word Espanol which means Spanish in English. I did this because my project is on Spanish and nobody will know what I did my project on if I don’t have a title. While the paint was drying I printed out a picture of a rainbow color wheel. Then once the paint had dried I glued on the color wheel. I did this because I learned how to say the rainbow and a color wheel would be perfect to show all the colors and what they are in Spanish. Another thing I did was I glued in a picture of a grandma, grandpa, father, mother, brother, and sister. After I glued all of those pictures in I wrote the definition of each of them under the picture. Finally, I made a script of what to say so I didn’t forget what to say while I was presenting. My struggle this week was having to wait to work one my project until the glue dried. As you can see, my 7th week was very successful.

7th Grade Memories

During my 7th grade year I have had many memories. One memory I have this year is from core and it’s that Ms.Moffat let us sit anywhere we want unless we miss use it. This is a memory because no other teacher has let us sit wherever we want. Another memory I have from 7th grade is that Ms.Lockman lets us eat in her class so whenever I’m hungry I can eat without getting in trouble. Finally a third memory from 7th grade is from volleyball, I had a blast with volleyball and I was so good I made city finally and played in the championship game and almost won!

20% Project Week 6

For my seis (six) week of my 20% project I did a lot. One thing I did was reviewed how to say 1-13 in Spanish which is uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez, once, doce, and trece. What I learned today is how to say fourteen and fifteen in Spanish which is catorce and quince. Also what I did today was I glued pictures onto my trifold poster. For example, I put abuela for grandma, abuelo for grandpa, madre for mother, padre for father, hermana for sister, and hermano for brother and after all of it dried, I wrote how to spell/say it in Spanish. Also, what I did at school was I glued up the numbers 1-13 and after the numbers dried, I wrote how to spell/say it in Spanish. I achieved this because I brought my trifold home on Wednesday and I was able to print out the pictures and words before I brought it back to school. My struggle this week was finding the correct pictures that would work and having to cut out all of the numbers from 1-20 so that it would be able t6o fit on my trifold. As you can see, week 6 was very successful.

My Amazing Mom

I am so thankful for my mom and what she does for my brother and I. I am thankful for my mom because she always makes my breakfast and packs my lunch for me in the morning. Also I’m thankful for my mom because she always makes me feel happy when I’m sad. Another thing I’m thankful for my mom for is when I come home from school she always makes me food before my sports so I am energized. In addition to this my mom pays for all of my sports like lacrosse, football, volleyball, and basketball. Furthermore, my mom also spends time off her day to buy and cook dinner. Finally, I’m thankful for my mom because she takes time off of her day to come take me to and from school everyday.

20% Project Week 5

For my fifth week of the 20% project I achieved many things. One thing I did this week is I reviewed how to say my family members in Spanish. For example, mom is mama, dad is papa, grandma is abuela and grandpa is abuelo. What I achieved this week was how to say the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Spanish. I wanted to learn this because last week I asked the Spanish teacher at Hewes Middle School what I should learn to prepare myself next year for Spanish 1. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Spanish is uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve and diez. I achieved this goal by writing these words on note cards and practicing them like a song just repeating them on and on and on. My struggle this week was mixing up the numbers 8, 9, and 10. This is because I used to learn Spanish and when I did learn it I only learn 1-5. Next week I will learn how to say 1-20 in Spanish!
